Eleron-10

The Eleron‑10, developed and manufactured by the Ukrainian aerospace firm ENIKS, entered service in 2012 as a compact, multi‑role unmanned aerial system (UAS) designed to meet both military and civilian demands. Originating from a lineage of tactical reconnaissance drones, the aircraft was conceived to provide high‑resolution imagery and real‑time data while maintaining low operating costs and rapid deployment. Its all‑composite airframe, featuring a folded‑wing configuration, enables transport in a standard‑size case and launch from a hand‑held catapult, while an integrated electric motor grants vertical take‑off and landing capability on unprepared surfaces. The Eleron‑10 boasts a flight endurance of up to six hours, a service ceiling of 5 000 metres, and a 200‑kilometre operational radius, supported by a modular payload bay that accommodates electro‑optical/infrared sensors, LiDAR, and custom communication packages. Autonomous flight control, satellite‑based navigation and a secure data link ensure precise waypoint execution and live video streaming. Since its introduction, the platform has been adopted by several NATO allies, humanitarian agencies and border‑control authorities, becoming a benchmark for affordable, versatile UAS technology and underscoring ENIKS’s contribution to expanding accessible aerial intelligence in modern aviation.
